Life seems to be all about balance, fulfillment and evolution. We have talents and dreams and then there’s that thing called Karma. In both astrology and numerology there are formulas for discerning the Karmic responsibilities of individuals. When people hear the Big “K” word, they usually think of punishment or restitution.
But what is it really? All we can be absolutely sure of is that Karma indicates one of two things:
- a strength we have that should be utilized
- a characteristic or area we are weak in; something we need to develop
Karma isn’t a sentence or a free pass. Karma is a suggestion for greater fulfillment.
How to find your Karma:
- Write out your full birth name, with the corresponding numbers under each letter.
- Count how many times each letter appears in your name.
- Look in the “Formula” section listed in the categories of this blog and look at “Your Expression” to see how to do this.
- Karmic Lessons are indicated by any missing letters in your name. A Lesson is something you need to learn to do.
- Karmic strengths are indicated when a letter is repeated tow or more times in your name. A Strength is something you are to use easily, in a balanced way – not overpowering. Allow it to be part of you, let it show.
There are also specific Karmic Debt numbers, these are in addition to any missing numbers you may find using the Karmic Debt Formula.
They are: 13, 14, 16, 19
If the numbers of your birthdate (The Life Path) or of your name (The Expression) add up to any of the above numbers, it means that this area has special needs that must be addressed. Exactly what needs to be done, depends upon where it shows up in your chart.
