Karma

Life seems to be all about balance, fulfillment and evolution. We have talents and dreams and then there’s that thing called Karma. In both astrology and numerology there are formulas for discerning the Karmic responsibilities of individuals. When people hear the Big “K” word, they usually think of punishment or restitution.

But what is it really? All we can be absolutely sure of is that Karma indicates one of two things:

  1. a strength we have that should be utilized
  2. a characteristic or area we are weak in; something we need to develop

Karma isn’t a sentence or a free pass. Karma is a suggestion for greater fulfillment.

How to find your Karma:

  • Write out your full birth name, with the corresponding numbers under each letter.
  • Count how many times each letter appears in your name.
  • Look in the “Formula” section listed in the categories of this blog and look at “Your Expression” to see how to do this.
  • Karmic Lessons are indicated by any missing letters in your name. A Lesson is something you need to learn to do.
  • Karmic strengths are indicated when a letter is repeated tow or more times in your name. A Strength is something you are to use easily, in a balanced way – not overpowering. Allow it to be part of you, let it show.

There are also specific Karmic Debt numbers, these are in addition to any missing numbers you may find using the Karmic Debt Formula.
They are: 13, 14, 16, 19
If the numbers of your birthdate (The Life Path) or of your name (The Expression) add up to any of the above numbers, it means that this area has special needs that must be addressed. Exactly what needs to be done, depends upon where it shows up in your chart.

ANY CHARACTER HERE

You Are Multi-Dimensional Cont.

Heritage Plays a Part in your experiences. And, the last name in your birth name can tell you a lot about your heritage, about the family focus, sot to speak. I might be worthwhile for you to look at that name.
It is part of you and is a quality or quest that is built in. You aren’t being forced to express it the way it’s been expressed in the past, or the way other family members do, yet, it does ‘want’ to come out somehow.

So ask: Does it suggest a focus that you have been ignoring? Is it a quality that has been over-powering you & needs to be modified by strengthening your other potentials? Heritage is a useful component of our make-up; just remember that heritage, like everything else, is to evolve.

You Are Multi-Dimensional

Use your full birth name when beginning a numerology investigation. Next, look at the names you use regularly now.

  1. There is the name you use for legal purposes
  2. The name that your casual acquaintances call you
  3. Any nicknames or terms of endearment that people use for you
  4. And then, there is the name you silently think of as who you are. This is, most likely, one of the names listed above.

Each of these names carries a particular energy and does have an over-all influence in your life. Think of it this way: they modify each other; they add a certain essence to you in a way that sort of competes your picture. Yet, there is a significant difference in the manner and degree that each name affects you. More on this in a later post . . . . .

If you know your full birth name (the” expression”), you can learn a lot about your basic essence. Then, look at the other names and think about what sort of qualities they’re bringing to your basic essence. Before you decide you don’t like what a name represents (people sometimes want to change their name), think carefully about the positive qualities that name represents; leave aside any negative ideas you have about it for a bit. Stretch your imagination to see how you could bring those qualities into your character or modify those qualities. Begin to wonder how working with those qualities, in some way, might super-charge you life.

There really are no accidents!
